KYOCERA Release New Printer

KYOCERA Document Solutions America has announced the release of its new high-capacity, environmentally friendly printer.
According to KYOCERA Document Solutions America, the new release, called ECOSYS P8060cdn, comes with a resolution of 1200×1200 dpi. It can print up to 60 ppm in black & white and 55 ppm in color, with up to 12”x18” media support, as well as a standard paper capacity of 1,150 sheets expandable up to 7,150 sheets. It also features professional finishing capabilities.
Furthermore, the ECOSYS P8060cdn can be operated via a smartphone. The printer possesses Wi-Fi Direct and NFC capabilities for Android mobile devices. The printer is HyPAS-enabled, ready to run KYOCERA Mobile PrintTM, Apple AirPrint®, and Google Cloud PrintTM, as well as Kyocera’s security and cost control business applications, including AccessLockTM and CentraQ Pro®.
In addition to this, they assert that the innovative printer is more environmentally friendly than its predecessors. It uses toner engineered with smaller particles, which require less heat to fuse them to the page, reducing energy consumption. Not only this, it also ensures that the cartridges are completely empty before they can be refilled to ensure all ink is consumed.
Douglas Cole, Director of Product Marketing at KYOCERA Document Solutions America said “In terms of print functionality, the ECOSYS P8060cdn delivers everything our customers expect.” It appears that the company has interesting plans for the future because Cole concluded, “However, that’s only the beginning.”
The ECOSYS P8060cdn is available to purchase at $6,188.
